The 2024 BMW M2 will cost $1000 more than the 2023 model, according to configurator updates first reported by BMWBlog.

The high-performance sports coupe now starts at $64,195 with the required destination charge. When the redesigned model launched for 2023, prices started at $63,195 with destination. BMW has not announced significant changes for the '24 model—unsurprising given the fact that it was new last year—though BMWBlog notes that the M2 will get two new color options next model year. They're both matte-effect shades, Frozen Pure grey and Frozen Portimao blue.

The M2 is still considerably cheaper than its larger brother, the M4. That car starts at $79,095, and if you want an automatic you'll have to spring for the much-spendier Competition model. For the M2, automatic and manual models start at the same price. It's also the better of the two to drive. For more details on that, check out our first drive.
